This study focuses on investigating thermal anomalies and pollution using the Krasnodar agglomeration as the study object. Spatial structure maps of urban heat islands were constructed using data from the Landsat 8 and Landsat 9 satellites, identifying primary sources of pollution such as uncultivated fields, warehouses, shopping centers, and industrial buildings. Geoinformatics and remote sensing data represent practical tools for analyzing and monitoring thermal pollution. The research revealed that residents of specific areas are exposed to dangerous levels of thermal pollution, necessitating a reevaluation of the spatial planning system, as well as introducing new technologies: green and white roofs, light-colored building surfaces, shading through vegetation, and the creation of ponds.
