The correspondence carried out from 1879 to 1923 between the Italian geometers and Felix Klein sheds light on the mechanisms of circulation of mathematical knowledge between Italy and Germany, as well as various aspects of the cultural and academic life and editorial policies of the two nations. In this paper, based on letters and archive sources, we will outline how this scholarly community (namely the Turin geometers Corrado Segre, Guido Fubini, Gino Fano and their protégés), organized the research activity, higher teaching, teachers training and library, trying to recreate in small scale the mathematical life lived at the Goöttingen Mathematisches Institut in the era of Felix Klein.

摘要
