There is mounting evidence from empirical studies of the past and present, as well as projections of the future, that all regions of the world now face increasingly catastrophic consequences of climate change. Actions are therefore urgently needed for mitigation measures to reduce emissions that cause climate change. The necessary changes include a wide range of technologies and economic changes, as well as changes in policies at all levels of governance.
