Gender Violence, where victims are generally women, is one of the most dreadful forms of violence happening in today’s world. While some consider it as an outcome of technological revolution, at the same time others may opine it as an outcome of growing form of violence and cyber violence is just one form of violence that has regularly been happening since ages to the present day and will continue to happen in future days to come. Fictions have vehemently portrayed violence against women in various ways. It could be a mirror for those readers who seek to understand the concept and forms of violence against women. Some of the works of fictions are horrifying and gives Goosebumps to the readers. Therefore this paper is an attempt to analyze some of the novels that portray gender and its pros and cons with an introduction and a conclusion.
