Parkinson’s disease is a neurological condition that affects mainly the elderly population. With the generally predicted trends toward an aging population, its incidence will increase. The unknown cause of brain degeneration that causes the disease makes early diagnosis and proper treatment with minimal use of pharmacological agents very important. This paper presents a description of a handheld system model for the diagnosis and treatment support of the condition based on voice analysis, along with a description of previous research on the implementation of such systems, as well as proposals for its expansion to include therapeutic and diagnostic features through integrations with other devices. The signal analysis is based on calculating voice features according to existing Multi-Dimensional Voice Program standards, which can be adopted for the purposes in question. A measurement verification of the system model was carried out and the resulting indicator values are close to the reference system.

摘要
