Climate change has been an important concern for humanity in recent time. Renewable energy consumption (REC) and non-renewable energy consumption (NREC) have an impact on ecosystem in terms of economics and sustainable future. There is a critical trade off between environmentally friendly energy consumption (i.e., solar, wind, hydrogen consumption.) and the opposite one (i.e., fossil fuels consumption). This chapter presents an insight between the renewable and non-renwable energy by considering white pollution (i.e., plastic production and waste management) as a result of consumption of energy, and its impact on climate change in growing economies. The used methodology is the structural development and historical perspective of energy consumption, climate change, gross domestic product (GDP) per capita and their by-product. The REC has positive impact on environment and white pollution (NREC) the opposite. Therefore, decision makers should be careful on energy consumption behaviour in growing economies. However, there should be a positive approach to maintain a balance in managing nature for safer environment.

摘要
