Angular-Velocity-Partitioned Linkages: Generalized Planar Parallel-Guiding Linkages
摘要
Angular-Velocity-Partitioned (AVP) linkages are a generalization of planar parallel-guiding linkages and have similar properties in that each loop in the mechanism can be partitioned into sets of links that maintain the same orientation relative to each other. The paper uses graph theory to enumerate one-degree-of-freedom AVP linkages with eight or fewer links and two-degree-of-freedom AVP linkages with nine or less links. AVP linkages may be apt for shape-morphing applications in which arrays of linkages with identical motion are desired.
