摘要
The bad consequences of bad money, when they arrive in a form which is starkly obvious, do have knock-on effects in the political arena including general elections. That is a far cry from saying that these bad consequences fortify and build the case for good money which then triumphs ultimately in a decisive election victory. Far from it. Rather in the murky history of bad money, there are plentiful surprises where the bad money culprits return to a towering position in human affairs even after the chickens have come home to roost.
