This chapter studies how digital advancements improve international sector working arrangements, especially in cross-border integration while showing why US and Canadian border agencies need to team up to fight cyber-attacks. The study also discusses how new technology tools like Bluetooth update DLT and CBDCs to boost international payment and customs system capabilities. Small economies develop competitive positions through border cooperation while facing security and property protection issues. The study follows a thematic approach for drafting section themes with simple case studies. This chapter explores the benefits of blockchain and AI technology that make trade flows easier to manage and protect safe monetary transactions while enhancing supply chain control. The various sections of the chapter showcase how IBM Trade Lens and Maersk use blockchain to improve their supply chains. This chapter highlights the smart contract’s purpose in international business and promotes government oversight through official rules to enable its use. This study detailed regulatory and data safety obstacles preventing blockchain from becoming a widespread business tool. Future research demands teamwork between organizations and governments to develop unified legal rules for blockchain technology. This chapter also explains how connecting AI systems to IoT devices through blockchain improves the security and performance of business operations. This chapter explains why there is a need to explain why blockchain adoption needs improvement because of its high energy needs and struggles to work with different systems, and calls for more research to resolve these problems. This study details business education and the government working together to develop new ways to enhance global digital commerce systems.
