The rapid advancement of deep learning in healthcare has led to the development of innovative diagnostic and treatment strategies, revolutionizing patient care and medical research. This contribution introduces a short survey of multimodal deep learning models in the context of healthcare, emphasizing their central function in medical diagnostics performance, and assist doctors and researchers for making decision. The present review explores different multimodal models and techniques of data fusion, which this later integrates various sources of data like electronics records, medical imaging, genetic sequence, and etc. Multimodal deep learning model prove a significant potential in preserving complex relationships within healthcare data.
