The Users’ and the Families’ Perspectives
摘要
Knowledge about the opinions and experiences of users and their families regarding mental health services for people with intellectual disabilities is generally limited. Experiences from these services, and their everyday life with psychosis, for those with both intellectual disabilities and psychosis, are very sparse. Hence, this chapter will also refer to studies including individuals with psychosis in the general population, or individuals with intellectual disabilities and mental health conditions in general, in addition to the experiences of their families.
