Legal Protection of Patents in the Digital Environment
摘要
This research investigates the legal safeguards for patents within the digital landscape, highlighting the difficulties presented by swift technological progress and the rising incidence of digital offenses. It underscores the necessity of protecting intellectual property, with a particular emphasis on patents, in an age increasingly influenced by the internet and digital technologies. Employing a descriptive-analytical methodology, the study seeks to identify deficiencies in existing legal frameworks, especially concerning the moral rights of patent holders in the digital sphere. The findings reveal that current legislation, particularly in Jordan, inadequately secures the moral rights of patent holders in the digital context. This legal shortcoming places intellectual innovations at risk, diminishing their worth and the rights of their creators. The research advocates for the modification of laws to respond to the changing digital environment, thereby ensuring thorough protection for patents and cultivating a secure atmosphere for innovation.
