Legal Protection for Remote Workers in Digital Work Platforms
摘要
The research entitled Legal Protection for Remote Workers in Digital Work Platforms investigates the legal framework that pertains to remote employment, with an emphasis on defining labor law, outlining its characteristics, advantages, and the safeguards available to remote workers against occupational hazards. Additionally, it evaluates the responsibilities of employers concerning wage disbursements and the provision of leave. A significant issue addressed in the study is the legislative gap concerning remote work, specifically the lack of distinct legal provisions or regulations that govern remote work arrangements. The researchers employed both descriptive and analytical methodologies for the analysis. The study advocates for legislation to clearly delineate legal protections for remote workers as well as for employers within the context of flexible labor laws. The conclusion underscores the obligation of employers to guarantee sufficient protection for remote workers.
