摘要

The role of AI in individualized education has gained attention and taken on larger advantage in an era where artificial intelligence applied to personalized education systems is one of the most significant global research interests in the field of academia, industry, and the pedagogical domain. The chapter discusses how AI fosters the experience of providing an individualized learning environment and its reflection for promoting social equity. This study applies a qualitative methodology and descriptive approaches to review existing literature for evidence of how AI-driven personalized education affects, and is affected by, social equity. These results find the promise and danger in AI applications to mitigate systemic gaps in education and, simultaneously, to address such questions as bias and equitable access. The study positions that stakeholders must collaborate to strive on producing an improved version that would support personal education not only to enhance learning but also to contribute toward a more just and inclusive education system.
