The study aimed to identify the applications of artificial intelligence and machine learning in improving teaching and learning in Jordanian universities. The study used the descriptive analytical approach. The study population consisted of specialists in Jordanian universities, while a sample of 100 specialists was selected from these universities under study. The results of the study concluded that artificial intelligence and machine learning systems achieve many advantages in education in general and in universities in particular. These advantages are that these technologies facilitate the teaching methods practiced by professors within universities, and they also save time and effort for students when completing research tasks, assignments and semester assignments. It also facilitates the uploading of lectures and recordings to the digital platforms provided by universities, and contributes to evaluating the performance of professors and students individually through complex algorithms that analyze and study past data and then predict the performance of a faculty member during a future period.
