The Role of Emotional Intelligence in Digital Governance Leadership
摘要
Emotional intelligence (EI) is increasingly recognized as a critical factor for effective leadership, particularly within the context of digital governance. As organizations and governance systems transition to digital frameworks, leaders must adapt by integrating emotional intelligence to navigate complex emotional dynamics, foster employee engagement, and enhance relational agility. This study examines the significance of EI in digital governance leadership by employing a qualitative methodology. The descriptive approach synthesizes existing literature to establish a theoretical foundation, while the analytical method builds discussions and derives actionable conclusions. The findings underscore the importance of emotional intelligence in enabling leaders to manage emotions, inspire teams, and drive technological adaptability. The study highlights the emerging paradigm of ‘emotionally technologically intelligent’ leadership as essential for navigating the challenges of digital transformation. This research contributes to the academic discourse on leadership by demonstrating the interplay between emotional intelligence and effective governance in the digital age.
