The rapid evolution of digital technologies has significantly impacted governance structures and language education, thus presenting new challenges and opportunities to policymakers. The current study attempts to examine the impact of governance structures on the policies of language education in Jordan resulting from digital transformation. Using an approach described as mixed, qualitative descriptive, and quantitative analytical techniques, it tries to show the interrelations that exist between governance frameworks and the integration of digital tools in language education. A case study of Jordan is used to exemplify how national, regional, and local governance structures play a crucial role in determining policy decisions and their execution. The findings indicate that, notwithstanding the fact that national policies especially those through the Ministry of Education set the path for digital transformation effective implementation of the policies requires participation not only from regional and local levels but also from educators. It highlights the need for adaptive governance mechanisms that would foster collaboration among stakeholders and continuous assessment, which is key to the successful integration of digital tools in language education. It offers highly pertinent insights for educators, policymakers, and other stakeholders in the process of digitally determined future developments in language education.

摘要
