An Analysis of Employing Educational Electronic Games to Improve Learning for Students with Special Needs
摘要
In contemporary education, educational electronic games have emerged as vital instruments, particularly for students with special needs. The incorporation of these games into the educational framework has become increasingly necessary to foster students’ engagement with the curriculum and enhance their cognitive and social abilities. Utilizing a descriptive methodology, the study examines the effects of educational electronic games on the learning experiences of students with special needs. Findings indicate that these games markedly boost student involvement, enhance attention and concentration, and promote critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities. Furthermore, games that emphasize collaboration were found to improve communication and teamwork skills among students. However, numerous schools encountered obstacles due to insufficient technological resources and limited training for educators. In light of these results, the study advocates for the implementation of training programs aimed at equipping teachers with the skills to effectively integrate educational games into their teaching practices, ensuring access to essential devices and equipment, and developing games that are aligned with the curriculum and effectively support educational goals.
