For the dynamic and complex task of urban planning as a result of evolving problem of rapid urbanization smart cities have been developed as a result employing robotics technologies in AG IoT streams for increased effective, sustainable and better quality of life. Consequently, it is crucial to analyse how robotics and AG-IoT can be incorporated with other smart solutions within the framework of urban planning and illustrate their potential to act as condition-shaping key drivers in the sphere of urbanism. Despite its simplicity, robotics by virtue of its automation changes different tasks in construction, maintenance and inspections in urban settings for better efficiency, safety and precision. At the same time, the use of AG-IoT technologies for the utilization, that can be successfully employed in smart cities, factors the sustainable use of resources, especially water and energy. With combined and complementary approach of robotics and AG-IoT, it is possible to use harmonious and coherent vision of more intelligent and sustainable cities that will be capable to adapt the needs of growing numbers of residents in the important cores of human settlements. This paper seeks to elaborate different applications of innovation technologies for smart city planning, as well as their benefits and limitations based on case studies and literature review, which will highlight the implications of smart city technologies in urban development if implemented.
