Exploring the Impact of AR, IoT, and Robotics on Cognitive and Motor Functioning in Children with Neurodevelopmental Disorders

Background: This study reconnoitres the effect of interventions combining augmented reality (AR), Internet of Things (IoT), robotics, and psychological threptic methods on cognitive and motor functioning in adults with neurodevelopmental disabilities. The research has highlighted the potential advantages of comprehensive interventions comprised with traditional methods and techno-oriented intervention with empirical data-based validation of their effect on neurocognitive development. Methods: A pre-post intervention design was administered, with measures of cognitive and motor functioning at pre and post the intervention level. It requires structured training integrating with AR simulations, IoT-enabled devices installation, robotic program assistance, and psychological threptic techniques proposed to particular cognitive and motor competencies in children with neurodevelopmental deprivation. The data is comprised with a sample of 50 children aged 6 to 12 years. Results: There was significant enhancement in cognitive and motor operational skills due to the intervention. Result demonstrated enhanced attention, executive functions, and motor skills among children, as demonstrated by mean score upsurges in various assessment measures (p < 0.05). Hence, findings recommend that the comprehensive method of combined AR, IoT, robotics, and psychological threptic methods is effective in promoting cognitive and motor growth among children suffering with neurodevelopmental inequalities. Limitations: Although the result was very promising, there are several limitations should be recognized to enhance future prospects. The nature of the data with 50 sample size limits the generalizability of the outcomes to real-world contexts. Along with this, the absence of a control group and randomization procedures may have influenced the observed effects. Further research can address these issues to make it more in intervention strategies.
