Digital University: Building a Flexible, Inclusive, and Sustainable Education System
摘要
This paper explores the concept of a “Digital University” aimed at reshaping higher education to align with the needs of a digital economy. The study introduces a comprehensive model that integrates innovative digital solutions to enhance learning experiences, streamline university management, and develop core digital competencies among students. Using empirical data from five universities in Uzbekistan, the research examines the readiness of educational institutions to adopt digital infrastructure, faculty competencies in utilizing digital tools, and student satisfaction with technology-based learning. Findings indicate that digital integration positively influences educational outcomes, supporting the model's potential as a transformative approach in higher education. The study's novelty lies in its structural framework for a Digital University, emphasizing flexibility, inclusivity, and sustainability. This model not only enhances academic experiences but also positions universities to respond effectively to the growing demands of the digital economy.
