Implementing Sustainable Micro-Logistics Hubs for Innovative Physical Internet Urban Delivery Methods: The Bologna Case
摘要
Within the HORIZON EUROPE project URBANE, the Bologna Living Lab is implementing a measure listed in the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SUMP): Nearby Delivery Area (NDAs), combined with a collaborative approach among logistics operators and the utilization of zero-emission vehicles. The NDA serves as a micro consolidation centre for the transhipment of goods from conventional vans to cargo bikes and/or light electric vehicles. The ultimate goal of this pilot project is to define guidelines for implementing low-impact and sustainable micro-logistics hubs for urban deliveries. The paper provides an update on the ongoing implementation, with a description of the current state of the art and the incoming data from the deliveries operations.
