The Islamic stock market has emerged as a significant component of the global financial system, distinguished by its adherence to Shariah principles and unique market dynamics. This study undertakes a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of the existing literature on Islamic stock markets, focusing on performance trends, prominent contributors, and key thematic areas. Drawing from 403 peer-reviewed articles published between 2002 and 2022, this analysis identifies five critical research gaps: the differentiated impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on Islamic stocks, long-term structural shifts in Sharia-compliant equities, risk-return profiles of Sukuk, investor behaviour in Islamic markets, and the role of Islamic finance in advancing global sustainability goals. The findings underscore the increasing academic and practical interest in Islamic stock markets and their potential contribution to global economic development. The study provides guidance for future research, particularly in sector-specific investigations, liquidity shocks analysis, and the role of cultural and social factors in investor behaviour in Islamic stock market research.

摘要
