In line with Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Education 4.0, the learning approach in higher learning institutions is beginning to shift from teacher-centered learning to student-centered learning. There has been a remarkable increase in the adoption of YouTube as learning tool in both physical and active learning via think-pair-share strategy. However, past literature is scarce on the use of YouTube for delivering law courses. Hence, this study aims to analyze the impacts of the adoption of YouTube as learning tool coupled with the think-pair-share strategy in the teaching and learning of law courses. The methodology engaged in the study is qualitative method, using case study design in one of Malaysia’s law schools. The data sources for the study are two-folds: (1) reflection notes by the students, and (2) reflection notes by the lecturer. The data are imported into the computer-assisted qualitative data analysis software of ATLAS.ti version 9 for analysis and reporting. In general, the study revealed that all respondents found that YouTube coupled with think-pair-share strategy are useful for better understanding of the lesson. The findings of the study can be a catalyst for future research on the subject of applying multimedia learning tool and active learning using think-pair-share strategy for delivering law courses as well as other courses offered by the higher learning institutions.

摘要
