This study investigates the implementation of the Teaching Factory (TEFA) model inside Indonesia's educational administration framework. TEFA is an educational approach that integrates practical, industry-focused experiences into the curriculum, aligning classroom instruction with industry requirements. In Indonesia, where vocational education is essential for workforce development, TEFA has been implemented to improve student employability by offering practical experience in a production-oriented setting. The study evaluates the current implementation of TEFA in Indonesian vocational schools, utilising reports from Indonesia's Ministry of Education and other secondary data, and emphasises its implications for curriculum creation, teacher training, and industry engagement. Although TEFA markedly enhances graduate employability, financial constraints, erratic governmental policies, and insufficient teacher training impede its extensive application. The paper concludes with recommendations for policymakers and educational leaders to address these challenges, emphasising the importance of continuous collaboration between academic institutions and industry to fully realise the potential of TEFA in preparing a skilled workforce for the future.
