The design and implementation of an intelligent platform for vocational skills teaching and competitions in vocational colleges provide an innovative solution to improve students’ skill levels and competition performance. This platform integrates functional modules such as course management, online learning, VR skills training, and competition simulation. In practical application at a key higher vocational college in a certain province, the platform showed significant results: students’ key skill indicators improved comprehensively, teachers’ teaching effectiveness notably enhanced, and competition scores increased substantially. The research results highlight the important value of intelligent platforms in promoting the quality improvement of vocational education, pointing out the direction for future vocational education development.
