This study analyzes the construction of innovative design and evaluation system for international foreign language teaching based on artificial intelligence grand model. In the research on the basis of theoretical analysis, the use of Wenxin Yiyan, Wenxin Yige, XunFei Xinghuo, Tongyi Qianwen large models for international foreign language teaching innovation design and evaluation system construction. A total of 100 students enrolled in the international foreign language courses of grade 2021 in Chinese universities were divided into 1 group and 2 groups with equal strength. The first group adopted the teaching innovation design and evaluation system, and the second group adopted the original teaching design and evaluation system to carry out a half-semester teaching control experiment. After the experiment, the application effect of the teaching innovation design and evaluation system was comprehensively analyzed. After comparing the changes of course scores, learning ability, learning attitude and behavior, it can be seen that the use of AI large model to build an innovative design and evaluation system for international foreign language teaching can effectively improve students’ learning quality and promote international foreign language teaching.
