Slip resistant bolted connections are often used in metal structures. Their application is of particulary interesting in aluminium constructions when there is need to avoid HAZ zone. Behaviour of slip-resistan connections is highly dependent on the coefficient of friction between surfaces and preloading force in bolts. The paper presents the investigation of the behaviour of the joint made of aluminium and connected with hight strength M12 bolts, and determination of the coefficient of friction for three different treatments of friction surfaces.

摘要
