Methodology for Assessing the Efficiency of Generated UAV Flight Route Plans for Optimal Selection
摘要
The article explores innovative approaches to improving the methodology for developing UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) flight plans. The efficiency of selecting the optimal route among the developed options has been assessed. This study proposes new algorithms and evaluation criteria designed to meet specific operational requirements, including navigation in complex topographical conditions and adherence to strict time and resource constraints. A primary focus of the research is the application of advanced optimization techniques and their integration with state-of-the-art Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to substantially enhance both the accuracy and efficiency of route planning. These methods facilitate real-time adaptation to dynamic environmental conditions, thereby improving the UAVs performance in challenging scenarios. Furthermore, by selecting the optimal route, it becomes possible to minimize energy consumption and flight duration, ultimately leading to enhanced operational efficiency. The article includes a detailed comparative analysis of the newly proposed approaches and existing methodologies, highlighting the superior performance of the former in various scenarios. The findings have broad implications for the development of next-generation UAV software tools and flight management systems, paving the way for more reliable and efficient UAV operations in diverse applications. The conducted modeling is planned to be verified through real-world testing soon.
