In a context of a labor crisis marked by both a recruitment challenge for employers and an individual’s crisis in relation to work for employees, the question of recruitment becomes strategic. To attract and retain the best talents, companies are investing in employer branding. Different discrepancies may arise between the expectations of the personnel as assumed by the company and the actual expectations of employees, along with their perceptions of the offered working conditions. This could explain divergences around the Employee Value Proposition (EVP). The study introduces three job offers to participants, selected for their perceived attractive qualities. It is administered to students undergoing professional training, who are ready to enter the job market. We will specify the expectations of this specific audience in terms of EVP, contrasting them with the elements highlighted by employer brands. This study aims to shed light on divergences in expectations and perceptions around the EVP, paving the way for common ground to reduce tensions in the job market and provide insights contributing to the simultaneous resolution of these two crises. It aligns with the European focuses, in which, employment and skills challenge in harmony with the policy of reduction of the carbon footprint.
