Introducing generative artificial intelligence (AI) to social work students can significantly enhance their learning experience. One such program is ChatGPT, which is based on a large language model (LLM) that uses data from books, articles, and websites (to name a few) and has the capacity to generate human-like text. For social work students, ChatGPT offers an opportunity to explore complex social issues and practice responses to various scenarios. Learning may be enhanced by the immediate feedback. In this activity, students evaluate ChatGPT responses to questions about sexuality and gender identity for accuracy and bias.
