Queer World-Making
摘要
This multi-pronged, semester-long Queer World-Making (QWM) project is an applied experience to cultivate Queer-affirmative social workers and people who want to be helpful to 2LGBTQIANPK+ communities. This project promotes the synergy of knowledge acquisition, increased critical consciousness, cultural competence and humility, and a felt sense of empowerment for advocacy and allyship. This assignment works well situated within a stand-alone Queer elective but could be adapted to address work with other historically marginalized and justice-seeking populations. It could be disarticulated and issued in installments across the program.
