Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen-AI) is a type of machine learning using large language models (LLMs) that can create content, including images, text, music, videos, and audio. LLMs use data to train language using probabilistic methods, resulting in the output of human-like content. While these tools may increase efficiency in data gathering and producing content that is patterned and human-like, drawbacks to its use, particularly in education, are also likely to be found. This chapter provides exercises for students to critically analyze Gen-AI output to identify strengths and weaknesses.
