This directory contains a listing of learning, design, and technology-related higher education programs in the United States—both alphabetically and by state. To create a more comprehensive directory of programs, I used the most recent volume of the Educational Media and Technology Yearbook as a starting point. In addition, I also conducted an Internet search based on keywords such as “educational technology,” “instructional technology,” “learning design and technology,” and “instructional design.” Then I verified the information by emailing the program coordinator/director, department chair, or other faculty and reviewing the program website. Thank you to the respondents who helped ensure the accuracy of this section by responding to the request for an update.
