Digital Payments and Financial Inclusion: A Bibliometric Analysis
摘要
The growing number of empirical studies highlights the importance of digital payments as a tool for promoting financial inclusion. This also leads to the need for a systematic literature review. To address this need, this study employs a bibliometric analysis of systematically identified literature on digital payments and financial inclusion to identify research trends and content analysis to evaluate the research landscape. Using the PRISMA methodology, literature from the Scopus database was identified and screened which resulted in 49 papers relevant to the study’s objectives. These identified papers were analyzed using Biblioshiny and Vosviewer for publication trends, word clouds, keyword co-occurrence networks, thematic maps, and factorial analysis. The findings reveal significant trends in the research domain, providing insights into the evolution of the domain, key thematic areas, and interconnections among critical concepts. This study’s significance lies in its contribution to guiding future research and providing an overview of the research trends on digital payments and financial inclusion literature.
