Designing a Decision Logic System Using the OpenEHR Decision Language
摘要
Designing a Clinical Decision Support System (CDSS) is complex, involving challenges as semantic representation, workflow synchronization, and data access, which hinders the effectiveness of a CDSS. Open standards and knowledge sharing have emerged as promising solutions, enabling evidence-based decision support. As a result, an artifact was developed using openEHR Decision Language (DL) specifications, capable of processing standardized decision rules through a rule-based system and logical inference engine. This knowledge-based system focuses on automation, information management, and clinical guideline processing, offering a standalone module that integrates with existing Health Information Systems (HIS) to support standardized and interoperable healthcare workflows.
