Telemedicine emerged as an usual medical practice after the world pandemic of Covid 19, enlarging the context of home health care. In the clinical practice of cardiology, however, the anamnesis is usually completed by physical examination, blood pressure measurement, auscultation, and the recording of the resting electrocardiogram (ECG). The present study proposes the use of an edge computer that actuates between a portable electrocardiograph and the transmission of the signal to the remote medical service. The system, named HRV Analyst, receives the signal sent by a single-channel ECG system, extracts parameters of the heart rate variability and can be programmed to transmit the data to the medical service, classifying them on an abnormality scale, with a view to prioritizing prompt care when necessary.

摘要
