This article outlines the possible correlations between the wear of a conical-type diamond dental drill, often used in dental implant procedures, and aspects of vibration and drilling. The vibration indices of the micromotor and handpiece assembly were also collected during the drilling process of ten plaster samples and evaluated in accordance with Subsect. 9.6.3 of the Technical Standard for Electromedical Equipment ABNT NBR IEC 60601–1.

摘要

This article outlines the possible correlations between the wear of a conical-type diamond dental drill, often used in dental implant procedures, and aspects of vibration and drilling. The vibration indices of the micromotor and handpiece assembly were also collected during the drilling process of ten plaster samples and evaluated in accordance with Subsect. 9.6.3 of the Technical Standard for Electromedical Equipment ABNT NBR IEC 60601–1.
