This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using Tenecteplase (TNK) medication in myocardial infarction emergencies, based on a retrospective analysis conducted on recorded data from emergency cases since 2019 in Paraná- Brazil, by the emergency service SAMU. We used 647 records. The profile of myocardial infarction (STEMI) occurrences in our population was as follows: a) mean age of 61.92 (±12.38) years; b) majority male 467 (72.17%); and c) 462 (71.41%) already had at least one of the risk factors for myocardial infarction (previous angina, hypertension, or diabetes). Regarding the analysis of mortality risk using the TIMI-Risk, it is noteworthy that almost half of the sample was classified as low risk 312 (48.22%). As an unfavorable outcome, 48 (7.42%) of patients who received TNK in the prehospital did not survive even with the administration of the drug. A positive effect was recorded in 356 (55.02%). Pharmacological therapy performed by terrestrial and aerial SAMU teams suggests improving our state’s care for people with STEMI.
