The digitalization of all work processes characterises the current reality. Consequently, information has emerged as the fundamental unit of these processes, with core operations revolving around the creation, reception, utilization, and exchange of information. This shift has prompted a fundamental transformation in work content, labour market dynamics, and the requirements concerning safety and ergonomic principles in workplace organisations. The objective of the research is to devise a strategy for the development of digital workplaces, leveraging eco-ergonomic principles in their organization. The “Work 4.0” concept is a foundational starting point for this research. Under the “Work 4.0” framework, traditional workplaces are evolving into digital ones by integrating digital devices and tools alongside information ergonomics, green ergonomics, and ergoecology principles in work processes. The research introduces a model for a digital workplace and emphasises the necessity of adopting new eco-ergonomic principles for its organisation. The subsequent research phase examines digitalisation’s impact on a company’s safety culture, highlighting the need to reassess safety principles in light of new working conditions. The findings demonstrate how digitalization influences a company’s safety culture and the advantages it offers. The final phase is the formulation of a strategy for developing digital workplaces. The need for this strategy arises from the demand to streamline corporate digitalization, enhancing the digital workplace’s efficiency, safety, and comfort.

摘要
