Haidinger. The Mystery in the Eye Haidinger and the Vikings
摘要
The entoptic phenomenon (visual effects whose source is within the eye itself) of “Haidinger’s Brushes” was first described by Wilhelm Karl Ritter von Haidinger (1795–1871) in 1844. The ability of the human eye to see polarized light had not been known so far. The phenomenon of “Haidinger’s Brushes” still is not completely understood.
