Information Technologies for Security of Business Models of Transport Enterprises

The paper is devoted to the problems faced by enterprises of the modern transport sector, namely, a significant increase in cyberattacks, especially with the use of malware, which emphasizes the need to strengthen the cybersecurity of their business models. It is proved that the integration of information technology into transport systems increases the efficiency of operators, but at the same time, increases the vulnerability to cyber threats, which raises the issue of ensuring a balance between technological innovation and security measures. As a solution to the problem of cyberattacks in the transport sector, the author proposes to introduce the concept of “Zero Trust” into the information systems of business models of transport enterprises. Another way to reduce the vulnerability of information systems of business models of transport enterprises is to use multifactor authentication for all users, especially for those who have access to important systems. It significantly complicates the possibility of unauthorized access by requiring multiple methods of identification. Regular updating of software, operating systems and applications to the latest versions with appropriate security patches significantly reduces vulnerabilities that can be exploited by attackers. A mathematical model of the use of the “Zero Trust” concept for a transport enterprise using game theory is proposed, which minimizes the probability of an attacker’s success and achieves optimal protection based on mixed strategies. The paper emphasizes that transport enterprises should actively implement modern IT solutions to ensure the security of their systems, and regular updates of security protocols and training for employees on the basics of cybersecurity will guarantee their stability and security.
