Optimization of UAV Routes and Efficiency Enhancement Using Modern IT Technologies
摘要
The article discusses modern methodologies and algorithms aimed at enhancing the efficiency of route planning for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) using advanced information technologies. The implementation of such innovations is a key factor in optimizing and improving search and rescue operations, as well as significantly reducing operational costs, which directly impacts the overall cost reduction of such missions. The route planning system for UAVs is of particular importance in ensuring safety, efficiency, and operational effectiveness, which is critical in various areas such as environmental protection, scientific research, infrastructure monitoring, and emergency situations. Special attention is given to the optimization of UAV capabilities for effectively searching both dynamic and stationary objects, taking into account various factors. These include weather conditions, which can significantly change the situation in real-time, the technical specifications of the equipment requiring specialized approaches to planning, as well as local constraints such as terrain or urban conditions, which can create additional difficulties during task execution. Furthermore, it is important to consider the specific requirements of the mission, which can vary and be tailored to specific circumstances, making route planning even more complex. The article also highlights issues arising from the lack of reliable models and effective planning methods, which often lead to unforeseen losses of UAVs or even mission failure. Additionally, the inadequate level of planning automation may result in excessive human intervention, increasing risks associated with human errors.
