An outpatient clinic’s workflow can be made easier and more efficient through the use of intake questionnaires for new patients. There have been several attempts at developing such questionnaires, and some of these probably have value as triage instruments for identifying some of the more common diseases that cause the symptom of disequilibrium. As of this writing, such instruments cannot function as standalone tools for diagnosing less common conditions. This may change with the advancement of tools such as machine learning and artificial intelligence.
