When the symptom of disequilibrium is very severe, it may be associated with nausea and vomiting. If the disequilibrium can be treated, then usually the nausea and vomiting will resolve. But in some cases, it may be necessary to treat the nausea/vomiting itself. Several medications can be used to help with such gastrointestinal symptoms.
