Framework, or Setting the Scene
摘要
Do you share the same worldview as your candidate? In this chapter, we examine the first of the four terms, Framework, which is when candidates describe the state of the world, the country, or our lives. What techniques can they use? How can they argue against their opponent’s view of the world? What kind of statements do we look for as Framework claims? All of these questions can help you identify framework arguments in Presidential debates to see if you and the candidates live in the same recognizable world.
