Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become a cornerstone of modern data analysis, revolutionising how data is interpreted, modelled, and visualised. This chapter examines the role of AI in both quantitative and qualitative data analysis, with a focus on statistical analysis, predictive modelling, and advanced data visualisation techniques. AI’s machine learning and deep learning frameworks enhance the detection of complex patterns in large datasets, enabling more accurate predictions and deeper insights. The chapter also explores AI-driven tools for handling high-dimensional data, automating statistical methods such as Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and regression analysis. In addition, generative AI (GenAI), especially large language models like ChatGPT, has been utilised to assist in data processing and analysis, providing innovative methods for handling both structured and unstructured data. By examining these developments, this chapter highlights the significant contributions of AI in data analysis, pointing towards future innovations in research methodologies.

摘要
