This article presents a description of sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (Na-CMC) polymer produced from cellulose and analyzes its physicochemical properties. Na-CMC is extensively used in industry due to its high efficiency and ability to ensure durability. The research examines the rheological properties of the polymer solution, including viscosity and the loss modulus, as well as the crystalline and amorphous phases present in the material. Samples were prepared at a concentration of 8% and tested at room temperature (25 °C) under specially established conditions using the Anton Paar MCR 92 device.
