Bridging Energy Networks: Blockchain Interoperability for Efficient Multi-energy Management
摘要
Blockchain technology has revolutionized energy management in multi-energy systems by enabling secure, transparent, and decentralized transactions. However, its adoption is hindered by significant interoperability challenges, such as isolated platforms and cross-chain communication barriers, which limit scalability and efficiency. This chapter explores the role of blockchain interoperability in addressing these challenges, with a focus on frameworks like BAILIF and cross-chain smart contracts. These solutions enable seamless integration of diverse energy sources, real-time energy trading, and enhanced grid resilience. Case studies of platforms like Power Ledger and Energy Web Chain illustrate practical applications, highlighting the potential for blockchain interoperability to drive innovation in decentralized energy markets.
