Algorithm for Implementing the Method of Data Transmission Using Directional Action Sensors

The article is dedicated to the study of the use of directional action sensors in mobile sensor networks (MSNs) using telecommunication aerial platforms (TAP) of helicopter and aircraft types (ground-air networks). In recent years, mobile sensor networks as part of ground-to-air networks improved with more efficient information sharing techniques (clustering, node location prediction, real-time flight path construction and optimization, etc.). The analysis and comparison of modern omnidirectional and directional antenna solutions was carried out. The paper describes an approach to one of the main research goals, namely the creation of a method for using directional antennas in MSN mobile nodes, as well as their advantages and disadvantages. The dependence of the distance on the minimum sensitivity of the receiver was obtained when using different types of antennas at different transmitter powers. Based on them, an algorithm was developed where for the first-time new approaches to the use of directional antennas for mobile devices (nodes) were proposed. This makes it possible to improve the results of individual indicators from 3.9 to 6 times compared to existing antenna solutions of omnidirectional action.
